Dans le cadre du 77ème anniversaire de la Libération de Paris, la cérémonie organisée traditionnellement par l'association du 24 août 1944 et la Ville de Paris se déroule dans le Jardin des Combattants de la Nueve, afin de rendre hommage aux républicains espagnols composant dans sa majorité le détachement de la 2ème DB entré dans la Capitale dès le 24 août 1944 au soir.
