Simultanément au moment où Paul Watson sera présente à son juge au Groenland pour statue sur son maintien en détention ou la libération conditionnelle, se tient à Paris un rassemblement en sa faveur, cinq parties politiques prendront la parole, aussi des membres de la société civil. Paul Watson, fondateur du mouvement Sea Sheperd était sous le coup d’un mandat d’arrestation international émis par le Japon.Lors d’une escale au Groenland, les autorités Danoise, on possédé à son arrestation le 21 juillet, depuis cette date, la présidente de Sea Sheperd France, Lamya Essemlali indique que l'association va faire appel de cette décision. En présentent des preuves vidéo de l'innocence de Paul Watson, lors de la prochaine audience, car le 15 août, celui-ci avait refusé de les visionne.

At the same time as Paul Watson will be appearing before his judge in Greenland to decide whether to keep him in detention or release him on parole, a rally in his favour is being held in Paris, with five political parties taking the floor, as well as members of civil society. Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd movement, was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Japan. During a stopover in Greenland, the Danish authorities arrested him on 21 July. Since then, the president of Sea Shepherd France, Lamya Essemlali, has indicated that the association will appeal against this decision. The association will present video evidence of Paul Watson's innocence at the next hearing, after he refused to view it on 15 August.
