Le bain de La Nouvelle Année
Sur la plage des Sables d’Or à Anglet, ce sont des centaines de nageurs et leurs familles qui se sont réunies malgré le froid, et sous un magnifique ciel bleu, pour le bain de midi.
A demi habillés ou en maillot de bain, avec ou sans accessoire festif, avec un verre ou sans, toutes générations confondues se sont jetées à l’eau sous le regard des plus frileux venus les encourager et partager avec eux le Nouvel An.
The New Year's bath
On the Sables d'Or beach in Anglet, hundreds of swimmers and their families gathered despite the cold, under a magnificent blue sky, for the midday swim.
Half-dressed or in swimming costumes, with or without festive accessories, with or without a drink, all generations jumped into the water under the gaze of the more cautious who came to encourage them and share in the New Year with them.
