Vert. C'est la couleur dominante en Ouganda. Le sol est riche, fertile. Les foreêts couvrent 10 % du territoire. Des centaines d'espèces d'arbres, de plantes et d'animaux y sont recensées. Pourtant le pays enregistre l'un des taux de déforestation les plus élevés au monde. Au cours des vingt dernieères anneées, l'Ouganda a perdu 23 % de sa couverture végétale. 14 % des foreêts tropicales ont été détruites. Face à ce désastre, des initiatives sont lancées pour protéger la canopée.
