Plateaux de théâtre

C'est peut être en lisant les écrits d'Aldo Rossi sur l'architecture et son rapport au théâtre que m'est apparu clairement l'envie de faire une série de photographies sur les théâtres, non pas sur l'action qui s'y déroule mais sur l'espace scénique et l'architecture propre au théâtre.
Pour cela je voudrais prendre une photographie au début et à la fin de chaque pièce, uniquement le décor et l'architecture du théâtre sans aucune présence humaine.
Une scène dans le temps arrêté (par la photographie), comme figée dans l'attente de la future représentation, dans le « il y a eu », « il y aura »
Ce qui m'intéresse là dedans c'est le temps suspendu entre deux actions, entre le commencement et la fin, et l'histoire que chacun peut alors récréer par son propre imaginaire.
Pour que ne restent que des fragments, comme des indices de ce qui aurait pu s'y passer, tels une scène de crime ou un champ de bataille où enquêteurs comme historiens peuvent tisser des histoires au travers d'hypothèses.

Perhaps it was while reading Aldo Rossi's writings on architecture and its relationship to the theater that it became clear to me that I wanted to make a series of photographs about the theater, not about the action that takes place there, but about the stage space and the architecture of the theater.
For this purpose I would like to take a photograph at the beginning and end of each play, only the set and the architecture of the theater without any human presence.
A scene in time stopped (by the photograph), as if frozen in the expectation of the future performance, in the "there has been", "there will be".
What interests me in this is the suspended time between two actions, between the beginning and the end, and the story that everyone can then recreate by his own imagination.
So that only fragments remain, like clues to what might have happened there, like a crime scene or a battlefield where investigators as well as historians can weave stories through hypotheses.
