Dr Jane Goodall est une éthologue et anthropologue britannique.
Elle est la première scientifique à avoir observé et rapporté que les chimpanzés utilisent des outils pour s'alimenter. Ses travaux ont profondément transformé la compréhension des rapports entre les êtres humains et les autres animaux.
En 1977, elle fonde l'Institut Jane Goodall pour la protection de la biodiversité, l'aide au développement durable et l'éducation. Elle est messagère de la Paix pour les Nations-Unies.
Ces portraits ont été réalisé lors de l’événement « Un discours pour l’Histoire » à l’UNESCO à Paris le 19 octobre 2024 à l’occasion de ces 90 ans.

Jane Goodall is a British ethologist and anthropologist.
She was the first scientist to observe and report that chimpanzees use tools to eat. Her work has profoundly transformed our understanding of the relationship between humans and other animals.
In 1977, she founded the Jane Goodall Institute for the protection of biodiversity, sustainable development and education. She is a United Nations Messenger of Peace.
These portraits were taken during the event ‘A Speech for History’ at UNESCO in Paris on 19 October 2024 to mark her 90th birthday.
