Migrants dans le Briançonnais - 2017
Depuis l'été 2017, des migrants arrivent dans les vallées haut-alpines du Briançonnais en traversant les montagnes depuis l'Italie, le plus souvent à pied.
En quelques mois, plus de 2000 personnes, dont une majorité de mineurs isolés, ont ainsi transité par Briançon où la solidarité montagnarde s'est rapidement organisée pour secourir, héberger, nourrir, vêtir, soigner ou encore transporter ces personnes pour la plupart originaires d'Afrique de l'Ouest.
Ces photographies sont un témoignage des faits et des rencontres vécues à Bardonecchia, au col de l'Échelle, au col du Montgenèvre, à Briançon et à Gap entre août 2017 et janvier 2018.
Migrants in the Briançonnais moutains - 2017
Since summer 2017, migrants have been arriving in the alpine valleys of Briançonnais from Italy by crossing the mountains, often on foot.
In a few months, more than 2000 people -with the majority of them being isolated minors- have transited through Briançon, where the mountain solidarity quickly organized to rescue, to host, to feed, to dress, to heal or to transport these exiles coming mainly from Western Africa.
These photographs are a testimony of the facts and the encounters experienced in Bardonecchia, the col de l'Échelle pass, the Montgenèvre pass, Briançon and Gap between August 2017 and January 2018.
