A Nice, la police municpale renforce considerablement ses controles dans le contexte de la crise du covid 19. Pour ce faire elle s'appuie sur son centre de supervision urbain qui grace aux 300 cameras présents dans toute la ville de Nice, permet aux forces de police nationale et municpale, à la gendarmerie et aux pompiers, de pouvoir intervenir plus facilement.
Les controles dans certains quartiers sensibles donnent lieu a des altercations entre la police et les riverains qui vivent mal ce surcroit de controles.

In order to do so, it relies on its urban supervision centre which, thanks to the 300 cameras present throughout the city of Nice, allows the national and municipal police forces, the gendarmerie and the fire brigade to intervene more easily.
