Le 6 août 2015, Andrzej Duda est investi Président de la République de Pologne. En octobre 2015, son parti Droit et Justice, dirigé par Jaroslaw Kaczynki, remporte les éléctions législatives et siège en majorité au parlement polonais.
Le parti ultra-conservateur et euro-sceptique met alors en place un mécanisme afin de leur donner les pleins pouvoirs. Après avoir bloqué le Tribunal Constitutionnel, il en profite pour faire main basse sur les tribunaux et les médias publics, réformer l'éducation ou encore s'attaquer aux droits des femmes.
L'écart entre la Pologne A et B s'agrandit. Les petits partis d'extrêmes-droite, les nationalistes et les associations catholiques défilent dans la rue depuis que la boîte de Pandore a été ouverte, appuyant le gouvernement en place.
Face à eux, des mouvements démocratiques et citoyens manifestent pour sauver leur jeune démocratie et leurs droits fondamentaux. Une nouvelle opposition nait. Les camps s'affrontent.
Depuis cinq ans, on assiste à un événement historique: la plus grande vague de manifestations dans le pays, depuis la chute du Mur de Berlin.

On August 6, 2015, Andrzej Duda was invested President of the Republic of Poland. In October 2015, his Law and Justice party, led by Jaroslaw Kaczynki, won legislative elections and majority seat in the Polish parliament.
The ultra-conservative and euro-skeptical party then set up a mechanism to give them full powers. After blocking the Constitutional Court, he took the opportunity to take over the courts and the public media, reform education or attack women's rights.
The gap between Poland A and B is widening. Small right-wing parties, nationalists and Catholic associations have been taking to the streets since Pandora's box was opened, supporting the government in power.
In front of them, democratic and citizen movements demonstrate to save their young democracy and their fundamental rights. A new opposition is born. The camps clash.
For the past five years, we have witnessed a historic event: the largest wave of demonstrations in the country, since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
