IRAQI KURDISTAN - FAR AWAY FROM SINJAR
Nous sommes le 4 Août, des hommes habillés de noir, arrivent dans une Toyota blanche et encerclent le village Yazidi de Sinjar. Cris, coups de feu, un drapeau blanc sur lequel on peut lire « Convertis-toi à l'Islam ou prépare-toi à mourir ! » Les voitures se remplissent de civils qui se partent vers la montagne de Sinjar, le lieu symbolique de ce peuple pacifique de Mésopotamie. Les pas lourds des enfants fatigués, la fragilité des vieillards. Ce jour d'août, la chaleur est terrible. Ceux qui ne parviendront pas à fuir, cachent leurs armes et leurs larmes. Ils sont trainés comme des bêtes derrière un bâtiment administratif. Les portes se referment. Les enfants sont arrachés à leurs mères et embarqués dans des camionnettes, qui disparaissent à jamais.
Les enfants, les garçons lèvent les bras face aux docteurs de Daesh, s'ils sont des hommes, ils partent dans des camions qui s'éloignent. Les femmes regardent leurs maris, leurs frères, leurs pères pour la dernière fois. Au loin, on entend des tirs. Des bulldozers recouvriront les corps. Les mères sont effrayées. Les hommes de Daesh, des voisins ou des étrangers regardent leurs filles. Discrètement, les mères enlèvent leurs alliances et passent un bébé à porter à leurs filles. Des femmes en noir saisissent les femmes Yazidi, les isolent dans des pièces et vérifient leur virginité. Les sheikhs prennent les plus jolies filles, qui vont devenir leurs femmes embastionnées dans des tissus sombres. Les autres partent en bus ou en camions vers les prisons. Les vieilles femmes, habillées de blanc restent silencieuses. Elles seront conduites à pied au bord d'un ravin où leurs os se trouvent encore aujourd'hui. Les garçons, terrifiés, seront emmenés vers des camps d'entrainement terroristes, là ils seront battus. Ils errent tels des mutants, entrainés pour devenir des machines à tuer, les « lionceaux du Caliphat ».
Beaucoup sont morts au milieu de nulle part en Syrie ou en Iraq. Ceux qui sont revenus portent dans leurs c?urs et leurs corps les blessures de ceux qui ont été achetés, violés, battus et vendus jusque 25 fois. Daesh a tout essayé : séparant les familles, changeant les noms, les violentant, les forçant à porter des ceintures d'explosifs, crucifiant des morts et leur appliquant le châtiment capital. Tout. Mais ceux qui sont revenus aujourd'hui, les survivants de cet enfer, lèvent la tête pour affronter leurs cauchemars et leurs larmes et rester des Yazidis.

On August 4th, men dressed in black,in white Toyata, surround the Yazidi villages of sinjar with great commtion. Screaming,shots fired "quickly, a white flag, convert to Islam or you will die!"
The cars filled with civilians drive towards the impossible mountain of Sinjar, the place of strength and identity of these peaceful people of Mesopotamia. The footsteps of the tired children,the weakened grandparents,They are led like beasts behind the walls of the central administration. The doors close. Breasfed babies are tornaway from the mothers and placed in vans, which drive off, disappearing for ever.
The children boys, raise their arms in front of Daedh doctors. If they have already become men, they will get into the trucks and be driven off into the distance. The women look at their husbands,their brothers, their fathers for the last time. From afar,gunshots are heard. Bulldozerq will cover uo the bodies.The mothers are frightened. The men of Daesh,neighbors or strangers, are looking at their daughters.Discreetly, the mothers take off their wedding rinds and give the daughters a baby to hold. Women in black take the Yazidi women, isolate them rooms, and verify their virginity. The sheiks snatch up the prettiest girls, who will become their wives enclosed in a prison of fabric. The others are taken by bus or by truck to prisons. The elderly women, dressed in white, are silent. They will be led on foot to the edge of a pit where their bones remain today. The boys, terrified, will take the road to the terrorists training camps: beatings, weapons, bombs. They wander like mutants, trained to become killing machines, the "Cubs of the Caliphate".
Many died there in the middle of nowhere in Syria or Iraq. Those who have returned bear in their hearts and bodies the scars of men who have bought, raped, beaten, and sold them over 25 times. Daesh has tried everything: ripping apart family, changing names, beatings, explosive belts, participation in capital punishments and crucifixions of thedead. Everything. But those who have come back today,survivors of this hell, raise their heads to face their nightmaires and tears and remain Yazidis.
