Chateau moderne, la Villa Cavrois est une demeure familiale dotée de tout le confort moderne. L'architecte Robert Mallet-Stevens a carte blanche pour ce projet et en concevra les moindres détails.
Après le décès de Lucie Cavrois, les enfants vendent la villa à un promoteur immobilier. Elle sera laissée à l'abandon, puis squattée et fortement détériorée, avant que l'Etat ne la rachète en 2001 et entame un important chantier de rénovation.
VISITING THE VILLA CAVROIS
A modern castle, the Villa Cavrois is a family residence equipped with all the modern comforts. The architect Robert Mallet-Stevens had carte blanche for this project and designed every detail.
After the death of Lucie Cavrois, the children sold the villa to a real estate developer. It was left abandoned, then squatted and severely deteriorated, before the State bought it in 2001 and began a major renovation project.
