Discours de politique générale au Sénat
Le Gouvernement est responsable devant l'Assemblée nationale qui peut le faire tomber par une motion de censure. C'est pourquoi le Premier ministre prononce son discours de politique générale devant cette assemblée. Mais le Sénat est aussi l'objet d'un prononcé de ce discours par un ministre délégué pour ce faire. Ancienne première ministre, Ministre d'Etat, Elisabeth Borne a ainsi été missionnée pour prononcer devant le Sénat le même discours que le Premier ministre devant un hémicycle sénatorial très fourni et quelques ministres au banc.
General policy speech in the Senate
The Government is responsible to the National Assembly which can bring it down through a motion of censure. This is why the Prime Minister is delivering his general policy speech to this assembly. But the Senate is also the subject of a delivery of this speech by a minister delegated to do so. Former Prime Minister, Minister of State, Elisabeth Borne was thus commissioned to deliver the same speech to the Senate as the Prime Minister in front of a very crowded senatorial hemicycle and a few ministers on the bench.
