Collaboration artistique avec la Compagnie LOBA - Angers
Ce portfolio regroupe trois séries de photographies.
Il s'agit d'une création photographique réalisée entre 2016 et 2019, dans le cadre d'un collaboration artistique avec la Compagnie LOBA - Annabelle Sergent, compagnie de théâtre basée à Angers.
Cette commande s'est déployée autour de 3 pièces de théâtre jeune public :
- "Le Roi des Rats" (Création 2015 - Tout public à partir de 8 ans),
- "Waynak" (Création 2018 - Premier volet du diptyque « À quoi rêvent les enfants en temps de guerre ? » - Tout public, à partir de 10 ans),
- "Shell Shock" (Création 2019 - Second volet du diptyque - Tout public, à partir de 14 ans).
Fondée en 2001, la Compagnie LOBA soutient les créations d'Annabelle Sergent. Conceptrice, autrice et interprète de ses spectacles, Annabelle Sergent fait partie de cette génération d'artistes qui investit le champ des arts de la parole en le bousculant, en interrogeant la narration au théâtre, à travers ses créations adressées au jeune et au tout public.
En 2016, devant les secousses sociétales, les attentats, les guerres, Annabelle Sergent interroge la source du geste de création, et ouvre un cycle sur les écritures du réel, en direction des adolescents.
Les séries photographiques réalisées pour illustrer ce travail, au-delà d'images de plateau, se veulent une métaphore visuelle des thèmes abordés dans les pièces d'Annabelle Sergent, soutenues par la force des paysages traversés et incarnés par les personnages souvent de dos, contemplant ce qui se joue devant eux.
Artistic collaboration with Compagnie LOBA - Angers
This portfolio gathers three series of images.
It is a photographic creation realized between 2016 and 2019, as part of an artistic collaboration with the Company LOBA - Annabelle Sergent, based in Angers, around 3 plays for young audiences :
- "Le Roi des Rats" (Creation 2015 - All public from 8 years old),
- "Waynak" (Creation 2018 - First part of the diptych "What do children dream in times of war? - For all ages, from 10 years old),
- "Shell Shock" (Creation 2019 - Second part of the diptych - For all ages, from 14 years old).
Founded in 2001, the LOBA Company supports Annabelle Sergent's creations. Designer, author and performer of her shows, Annabelle Sergent is part of this generation of artists who invests the field of the spoken word by challenging and questioning narrative in the theater, through her creations addressed to young people and the general public.
In 2016, in the face of societal upheavals, attacks, and wars, Annabelle Sergent questions the source of the creative gesture, and opens a cycle on the writings of reality, aimed at adolescents.
The photographic series made to illustrate this work, beyond set images, are meant to be a visual metaphor of the themes addressed in Annabelle Sergent's pieces, supported by the force of the landscapes crossied and embodied by the characters, often from behind, contemplating what is happening in front of them.
