Le pelerinage de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle est un pelerinage catholique dont le but est d atteindre le tombeau attribuee a l apotre saint Jacques le Majeur, situe dans la crypte de la cathedrale de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en Galice (Espagne). C est un Chemin seme de nombreuses demonstrations de ferveur, de penitence, d hospitalite, d art et de culture, qui nous parle de maniere eloquente des racines spirituelles du Vieux Continent.
J aimerais m inscrire dans cette histoire humaine et suivre les pas de ces hommes qui ont traverse nos terres. Reflechir au sens contemporain à donner au Chemin de Saint Jacques, et initier un dialogue personnel, incarne et sensoriel entre ma voix intime, les fantomes du passe, et les pelerins d aujourd hui. Il est dit que « tous les gens qui marchent sur le chemin viennent forcement y chercher quelque chose ». Voila ce que propose ce travail d itinerance : une recherche photographique sur notre condition humaine et un voyage temporel.

The field of stars or the stirred earth - Part.1
France. Via Podensis. 2020-2022. Work in progress. The Pilgrimage of Santiago de Compostela is a Catholic pilgrimage whose goal is to reach the tomb attributed to the apostle Saint James the Great, located in the crypt of the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia (Spain). It is a Way full of demonstrations of fervor, penitence, hospitality, art and culture, which speaks to us in an eloquent way of the spiritual roots of the Old Continent.
I would like to be part of this human history and follow the steps of these men who crossed our lands. To reflect on the contemporary meaning to give to the Way of Saint James, and to initiate a personal, embodied and sensorial dialogue between my intimate voice, the ghosts of the past, and the pilgrims of today. It is said that "all the people who walk on the road come to seek something". This is what this itinerant work proposes: a photographic research on our human condition and a temporal journey.
