Les gilets jaunes ont manifesté dans la matinée devant la préfecture. Ils ont ensuite rejoins le vieux port pacifiquement en direction de la mairie. Bloqué par un barage de CRS, ils ont souhaités s'avancer sur l'avenue de la république. Ils ont de nouveau été stopé. Les CRS ont alors décidé d'envoyer des grenades lacrymogènes pour repousser les manifestants vers la canebière.A ce moment là, les CRS ont laissé un petit groupe de gilets jaunes fuire vers la mairie. Deux blindé sont alors arrivés en renfort et se sont poster devant la mairie, avant d'avancer jusqu'au port. Les manifestants ont ensuite tous été repoussés vers la canebière, jusqu'au quartier des Réformés. Ils ont été rejoins par quelques jeunes du quartier. Casse, poubelles en feu, les CRS ont répliqué par des gazs lacrymogènes.
