Semaines Père, Semaines Impaires
Je vis seul avec mes 2 enfants, une semaine sur deux, les semaines impaires. Les années passent, rythmées par cette garde alternée. Comme pour rattraper un temps volé, je me dédouble pour profiter d'eux pleinement. Cette vie en trio, intense et plaisante, peut aussi m'éprouver par la gestion du quotidien, par les choix que je dois prendre seul, par le curseur à placer entre laxisme et autorité. Capteur des moments de notre vie intime, regard posé extérieur, mes images m'extraient artificiellement de ce huis clos. Faisant écho à ce dédoublement, je joue un scénario dans lequel je suis un des protagonistes qui s'observe.
Father time
My 2 children come and live with me every other week, the odd numbered weeks. The years go by characterised by this alternating custody. As if to make up for lost time, I split myself in two to fully enjoy this time with them. This intense and enjoyable life as a trio can also be testing in terms of managing everyday life, making decisions on my own and taking a stance somewhere between being lax and authoritative. My images artificially remove me from this small world and so looking in from the outside I capture moments of our private life. Reflecting this duality, I take part in a scenario in which I play one of the main characters watching myself.
